You want a clone? How about the same exact Ark game but free but in Chinese.
Its what happened after Snail Gaming, a Chinese company bought WC.
They used the majority assets of Ark and made D&L
P.S. DnL is much older then ark btw. Forgot that detail :p
larger map and diffrent texture packs and assets
i would say only in consept are they the same
Let me put this in a way you will understand...after killing a creature harvest it, when it ends it will make a sound while the creature vanishes...listen to it.
It's definitely worth the $25 if you like ARK, but also want to play in a fantasy setting.
Yeah. Ark was the same.
I did an refund cause there is only third person and servers are super fragile.
"was"? Don't really know what decade you're living in, but it's still one of the most popular and most played survival sandbox games on Steam...... so what's with this "was" nonsense?
How embarrassing for you...
Dark and Light and Ark are both owned by Snail Games.
Both use UE4. More importantly both have been using some of the same piecemeal studios to do animations and other work for them under Snail's umbrella.
No one ripped off ark. Think on both Ark and DnL having the same common ancestors.
So the real question is why is there a D&L clone ?
The entire gaming industry is clones why are people so surprised.
I guess these guys never played a game and postponed getting a flyer as long as possible to get a completely different experience, where you actually have to deal with the environment, not just fly above it.
Or maybe he's refering to the game going "away" from primitive only playstyles, even though we had futuristic Tek in the world from the very start.
