Why nobody is doing Achievements on this game ?

that's insane since this is basically one of the biggest things to do in the game

Well , Achievement can give you a goal on Ark because of the fact that doesn't have Quests or other things .
I do achievement because they give me something to do in the game , i don't care about the fact that i have these now , they don't even help for the Level on steam .
They are fun to do , like find the highiest point of view on the game.
Find yourself the dossiers to understand the "story" of the game and why there are Dinos and humans on a island with some Aliens ♥♥♥♥ .

Don't Speak without checking what you are talking About. Ark always had on average 50k People playing the game at the same time and this is still the case today so NO , 88% OF THE PLAYERS DIDN'T QUIT THE GAME !

The only reason I like them is to recall the moments while getting the achievements (At least the ones that take some effort) and give me an idea of a goal for the game. Something like a "Place a campfire in Rust." isn't rewarding like you say. I just like it being a "goal marker" for my game.

Yup , Ark is like rust , there is not really a story or some other ♥♥♥♥ so achievement can give you some goal in the game or some help

the achievements are really really buggy.

I've done several of them and they simply don't register, so that may be why it appears that no one is doing them.

Yeah , Maybe the achievements are Broken for some people and this is why these numbers are so low but still the things that Alex Said are just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ , IF 88% of the community would disappeare , it would be a disaster

ARK Has been sold 5,169,569 times (https://steamdb.info/app/346110/graphs/). It usually has 50k players playing, and since they reseted archievements, yeah, I would say the archievements are working fine.

I really don't care about achivements on any game, I'll only ever do them if I happen to notice that I'm close to completing one by just playing normally and the goal to complete is very easy. Otherwise I can't be bothered.

The only reason I've done any achivements at all in Ark is to unlock the hairstyles, because I disagree that these should be locked behind an achivement wall. As a core feature of your character's appearance and identity I feel that hair should be free for anyone to choose without jumping through hoops to get them.

And when I did do those achivements to unlock said hairstyles, I used cheats to do them. I spawned in the items for the tek cave and used console commands to fly through it, and I downloaded a map from the workshop which has all explorer notes in one place so you can get them all at once.

That's not to say that I will never do these things legit sometime, perhaps I will. But I'll be doing them for the fun of the game, not to chalk up a meaningless achivement and unlock something which should be free for all to use anyway.

Yeah , Unlocking Achievements for the fun , not to Unlock something in game or to show that you have xxxxxxx Thousands of achievements on your account !

Kiky Alex isn't wrong when he says we lost 88% of the players. 50k playing every day is awesome but Wildcard did sell 5 million copies. I know I walked away from the game for a year with the attitude of let's see how it is later.

I feel the game is better now (the eel patch has me smiling again). I just hope they continue to balance things and optimize the game for a year after release. I hope that by December they haven't washed their hands of this game and only focus on ARK mobile crap.
