Cryopods = Pokeballs

Welp no more lugging around a slow Dino. Everything the Dino carries or is eqipped with goes into the ball and comes back out ready to fight.
PvP is gonna be fun when people start chucking Trex over your walls!

Actually these will make caves easier too as you can now fit big dinos inside with the pod.

Edit: Ninja Patch fixed them hiding items in the pod oh well was fun for day 1 XD

Works just fine inside extinction caves.

I believe it will work so long as there is space for the dino to fit. So yes you could bring a rex into a cave, so long as you found somewhere with enough space for a rex to stand unimpeded, and spawned it there.

Even on other maps? Like Ragnarok ice cave deepest part?

Haven't tried it myself, and it's possible that the other maps will have some kind of extra limitation in place to prevent their use in those areas, but as a general rule as far as I've heard, space is the only issue.

Actually the really fun part is you can use the Dino as a portable weightless backpack!

I don't see how unless they make the cryopods weight = the dinos. In which case many dinos will be ungodly heavy just from base weight.

Hopefully not. It's fun to throw down my anky at some metal nodes, full it up to excess, put it back in the ball, and run home. Soo much utility!!!

Just been looking up cryopods on the wiki actually, noticed it said this:

'The Cryopod cannot be used in caverns where specific Creatures are restricted (examples are Rex inside Grave of the Tyrants, but other creatures like Ravager and Thylacoleo can)'

So it looks like some caves will have restrictions even if the dino can fit, yes.

my pokeball when i release a creature it has an empty inventory so i dont know how your getting yours to keep its inventory.

So the Pokeball got Ninja patched got on this morning items now drop but saddle remains. Still good utility I carry a Dino for everything and even a few emergency Trex.

However for those worrying about easy farming you can use the delivery crates + Poke balls to do long range high capacity farming unless you wanna Climb the city towers and hunt a quetz.
