Wildcard, what did you do to my managarmrs?
3 jump hardcap for ALL levels of Managarmr? Are you kidding me? This makes managarmr a glorified gallimimus as a means of conveyance, and now they're completely beholden to rocks and slight changes in elevation.

I have a 6k stamina managarmr on PVE that is less capable of vertical transport than pterodons, worse at immobilizing enemies than snow owls, megalosaurs and karkinos, and less capable at combat than literally any other combat tame. I can't figure out what niche they fit into. They get stuck on compys and literally can't jump when facing a slight incline. They're unable to deal with trees, and can't defend OSDs because frost breath turns off near them. The range is pitiful. Manas have been nerfed right out of being useful, and I sincerely feel for anyone that has spent a long time breeding/taming them, because WC has stolen all of that work in one update.

Dude. You couldn't read one of the other 4 topics already created on this subject?

Posting here for my own reference:
v303.22 - 12/19/19
- Fixed a bug which allowed Managarmrs to use their ice breath underwater/whilst swimming
- Fixed a bug which allowed Velonasaurs to shoot endlessly in turret mode without draining stam
- Fixed two damage miscalculation bugs with the Managarmr pounce and Velonasaur AOE Needle Spin
- Managarmr limited to 3 jumps, 5 strafes, and 1 dash before it has to land
- Reduced Managarmr ice-breath exponential damage scaling by approximately 20%

They reworked manas from being a be all end all god teir flier to a ground tame with a pounch ability. There was no reason to not use a mana where ever it could be used.

Reworked? That's a great euphemism for "nerfed the ever loving ♥♥♥♥ out of"

It's what they always do. Create this great dino that encourages people to purchase the dlc and then nerf the hell out of it. Pretty much standard practice for any dev these days. Doesn't make it ok though.

I would hate to think that the devs were just taking part in some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ subterfuge to encourage people to buy genesis. But I'm not saying they aren't. The timing seems damn convenient, and this is a nasty nerf. I hate my manas now, they went from my favorite tame to utter garbage that I don't even want to use.

As with all nerfs.... those that come before feel the pain and waste... those that come after dont.

That is why WC is lazy about nerfs...

Well... time to install a MOD that reverts the Managarmr back.
Too bad Studio Failcard still doesn't care if server owners want to revert changes by just flipping a value to "false" that removes the nerf.

But the game was made to do exactly that? Wildcard literally gave the players the tools to change the game to how they want.

Yeah, imagine someone just wanting a good game without having to do the work themselves. This is how Bethesda started down the path they're on. Relying on players to fix things.

Tens of thousands of players enjoy official servers and console versions of the game. Oh look, players playing a good game without modded content, I guess I don't have to imagine it because it's reality.

Still peddling that false narrative I see.

Just because you call it false doesn't make it so.

It makes the false assertment that the managarmr was objectively the best, a flyer, or god tier. Those are all opinions, and not even neccesarily true. One, it was never a flyer- and the people that obtained manas that COULD stay aloft for a long time, did a lot of breeding to do so- lots of people lost a lot of work when they hardcapped jumps. It basically made stamina mutations worthless. Especially since the mana's previous nerfs, to tiered stamina drain on jumps and lower frost breath ranges- had already made stamina less valuable and less beneficial.

When this nerf came, you can't argue that manas were god tier, flyers, or even 'be all, end all."

But whatever, just go, "What I said is true!" and the argument is over, I guess.

Well, for me Mana's negated any other tames in PvP. Bred Mana's with huge Stam pools could essentially kill any other tame solo, it trivialized anything else. The nerf is terrible, but Mana's should have never been so over powered to begin with.

I am sure i will get hate for posting this, but in the end it is better for the long term health of the game on official servers, sadly.
