How can I tame a Dilophosaur?

Hi, I'm new at this game and I've tried to tame a Dilophosaur level 1. I gave it meat to eat but the domestication doesn't star. What can I do?
Should I start with another dinosaur? Please help me (I think I suck at this game).

Put meat into it's inventory, and it'll eat it when it's hunger stat drops below a certain point. Your job is just to keep it asleep (by feeding it narcos/narc berries) and safe (from anything nearby that may attack) until that happens. It's just a waiting game really.

Be aware that adjusting the dino food consumption multiplier in the settings will affect how fast creatures will eat though, and by extension how fast they tame. If you set them to lose food really slowly, then they'll eat really slowly and your tame will last much longer.
