Call all dinos across the map
Hey, I just got into some trouble with a Raptor, so i thought: Hey, wouldn't it be great if you could craft something like a horn to blow in and all your dinos across the map would hear it and, you know, come over to help? I don't know if it would be OP, but I considered it as a pretty nice Idea to have. And a small question: Is there something like this in the workshop?

Ok. After reading this I really understand that this is no good idea.

The basic concept might have some potential, if it was worked on a bit. Maybe you could have an option in the dino's radial menu to set them to an alert status of some kind, and only those dinos which are on this status would answer the horn.

And also, instead of calling them to run from across the map, maybe when the horn is used the dinos on alert vanish from your base and respawn somewhere in the area close to you, thus preventing them getting stuck on things as they come running to help. So kinda like a teleporter of sorts, but from the player's point of view they just use the horn then the dinos run in from the nearby forest or something, so it looks like they came across the map.

There could be ways of making it work, after a fashion...

That would be a terrible idea. Pathing and agro would kill any benefit it would provide.

You would have most of your dinos stuck on trees logs rocks stones other dinos etc etc.

The teleporter mod can teleport dinos to you

Would that include things like snails and dung beetles in your farms...?

It's already bad enough for a tribesman to accidentally push whistle all button in the middle of the base and then get crowded lol. Imagine if he accidentally got every single dino on the map on follow by accident.
