Direwolf pack leader bug?
so i have a group of four direwolfs but for some reason the level 203 direwolf and the 208 dire wolf are both pack leaders? anyone know a way to fix? i thought this would be okay but only one alpha and the other wolfs get the buff and the other alpha gets nothing:Moo:

Slim down your pack a bit. Multiple alphas occur when there are more than the maximum wolves in an area to get the pack boost, so it effectivley makes two separate packs. If you leave some at home then the remaining ones should all get the boost.

I couldn't recall how many it was offhand, so I just checked the wiki and that suggests that it's 4 too, yeah (4 plus the leader as far as I can tell). Why, how many do you have?

EDIT: Check that, just noticed you said that in your OP. Sorry my bad, I'm tired right now >,<

Hmm, if it's not a numbers issue then it may be to do with proximity then. If you run fast and leave some of your wolves trailing behind it may not count them as part of the pack, so they get a new pack leader with the ones they're closest to. Maybe try to wait for all your wolves to catch up before howling?

im sure its not the distance since the packs are always in the base and no one uses them but we have tried everything and it still says theres two pack leaders

theres a screenshot btw but yeah im sure its not the distance as we have moved all of them far away then back together and then we tried having them on follow at the lowest distance so they stay very close and it still says theres two alphas as seen in that photo we have left them next to each other

I had the same issue with only three Direwolfs. For me, I could solve it as follows:

I took one of the pack leaders (the one with the highest level - may be important) and brought it away from my base. I then waited till all lead-effects (howling and its cooldown) faded. (Somewhere during this process,) the "lead"-title disappeared and howling was not possible anymore.

When I returned to my base, only one wolf received the title "pack leader" (the one I just took out for a ride).

Maybe not all steps are necessary in full length, but that's how I got rid of the bug.
Hope it helps someone :-)
