Also- if the Icthys eat narcotics, they should at least pass out unconscious. But only if stimulants make them fly faster.
Pegos and Ichthys don't steal. Raptors, Microraptors, Purlovias, and Thylas don't pounce-stun.
Cnidaria, Eels, and Baryonyx don't stun, etc.
The wild creatures are still in the game, they have just been replaced with versions that don't have these mechanics.
When tamed, they are replaced again by the original creature with those mechanics, so if the mod is deleted in the future, all the tames will remian.,
Disclaimer: I do not use the mod... yet.
I am watching it to see how the author handles updates before I download it.
For those interested, I have taken this thread as inspiration to remove Pegomastix stealing in my Realism Plus mod.. and also re-size it and make them like Compsognathus (because they were only about 2 feet high in reality)
Was your Mana on the slot 0 ?
Well, except for backpack pets. They can't seem to steal from a pet you're wearing on your shoulder. I can put up with having to put eggs, spare narcotics, and Prime meat into a backpack pet, that's fine, but cryopods? C'mon. I shouldn't have to deal with worrying that I'm going to lose something important. RIP to that person's mana.
I'll have to look at Better Dinos, thanks.
There's also a mod to JUST make the Pego's not so menacing that does nothing else at all, if you don't want to use a mod that changes a whole lot of other dinos, that would be the one to look at.
The mod author also has another mod that adjusts ichthy's.

That's not entirely true. The point of the item theft is to discourage seal clubbing in PvP servers. It's no coincidence that the easiest spawn areas are also the areas that contain ichthyornis and pegos in the largest numbers. Yes it's annoying for low level players but it's intended to be even more annoying to have your 500% damage assault rifle stolen while hanging around trying to kill new spawning players.
PvE and Co-op I agree entirely, they're nothing more than a pointless nuisance.
Maybe they should grab an item, run away, and then, if it's not edible, drop it. Then at least you would have some hope of getting your weapon back, and it would make more sense as a behavior thing anyway.
