Low level wild dinos?
Hey, i know there is a discussion for this already but it was from 3 years ago so ill just start a new one.
I've got a problem with wild dinos spawning. I can only find dinos at low lvl like 12-20 and on a RARE occasion i find some that are in the 80s.
My difficulty is at 1 (max) and i have the option that makes the max dino lvl 150, regardless what map your on, but i still seem to only find low lvls.
If someone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated!

That just defines max level. He's talking about average.

@OP: This depends on what map you're playing. All the official maps (Island, SE, Abs and Ex) are weighted to make lower levels far more common, and high levels extremely rare. It's only mod maps (Center, Rag, and some Workshop downloads) that are weighted to higher levels over lower ones.

There's no way to change this with configs I'm afraid. Nor am I aware of any Workshop mod which changes it either. I have heard that someone once was developing a server plugin to change it, but that was separate to Steam Workshop and needed special files in order to work. And I don't know if they ever fully finished it either.

OP; if you are playing single player mode, there is a slide bar option for this before you start your game on the left hand side of the screen, under one of the sub menu's at the top left side. if you hover your mouse over some of the options there will be a help text box apear above your mouse on said slide bar. once you find the right one, you will be able to set the difficulty higher, and also reduce wild dino damage and other stats too help balance with the level increase, thus meaning, you will get higher level dino's with the same power stats and damage etc as your current settings.

hope this helps brother. love from down under mate.
