tree platforms question

i am wondering if i can use pillars to place platforms on instead of trees is there anyway to do so , some friendly advice would be great ty happy holidays all

As far as I know you can't place the tree platform on anything other than a redwood, but there are mods out there that let you grow your own redwood anywhere you like though even giving you a variety of tree types to choose from ... The tree platform only snaps to a Redwood. If you want a big platform in the air it's easy enough with pillars and ceilings though.

Platforms Anywhere or platforms pluss also work well.

If you are looking for a mod, Platforms Plus is my prefered option. If you are looking for a way to do it on official or a server where you don't control the mods, then no, you cannot. Aberation cliff platfoms can be useful for that though, they snap on a lot of different terrain. Otherwise you are stuck with ceilings on those pillars.

The mods above are all great mods to use for tree platforms if you play on modded. Outside of modded the tree platforms can only be placed on redwoods. Great mods to use are Redwoods Anywhere, Platforms Plus, and Platforms Anywhere. All three of those are made by a great author orionsun.
