Hazmat helmet from Abs also protects against poison breath. Don't need the full suit, just the headpiece.
Gotta be honest though, speaking personally, I'd suggest skipping wyverns altogether. I really dislike them. They're cumbersome to fly, have no saddle for defence, can kill allies if used carelessly, and their damage isn't all that special compared to other apex creatures. Also velonasaurs and reapers can ground them very quickly and prevent them taking off. I'd recommend a rock drake instead - just as fast moving if used correctly, pretty equivelant damage, much easier to use and more versitile, plus a saddle for defense.
That's just my opinion though, I recognise others may feel differently, so if you still fancy one that's fine. I can't really say what'd be best for PvP as I never play that, but if you're playing PvE then go lightning all the way. It's breath is easiest to aim, and I believe the damage it does scales with levels pumped in melee, which doesn't happen for any of the other three's breath attacks.
Buying DLC doesn't actually use up your memory, because you already installed them. Buying DLC is more like having permission to use the offered map.
Secondly, you can't transfer from PvE to PvP (unless it's an unofficial server, never heard of that being the case)
Brontos are slow enough for you to shoot and run. Use a raptor, saber, or even better...Baryonyx, if you think you can't outrun them. The dinos I just listed are able to let you equip weapons/tools while riding (there are more dino options, but it's usually the medium sized dinos that allows you to equip).
What an Ice wyvern can do (with a decent person flying)
-Basically immobilizes slower creatures in the air. Argy's or other slow fliers wont be moving very far for the 10 seconds it's got 50% movement speed. Makes it easier for other wyverns to land their breath attacks.
-Murder machine on the ground against AI. You ice breath, bite 8-9 times, ice breath again, each knockback from the bite keeps the target out of your hitbox while you do damage to it. If you run low on stamina, one last ice breath followed by a C wing flap will let you regen atleast 40-50% of your stam.
-Slow other wyverns during egg runs. You probably shouldn't be the guy carrying the egg to do this but if you can land an icy hit on a fire/poison/lightning wyvern, they will be slowed, allowing for the egg theif to get an easy escape. Other ice wyverns are immune to ice breath debuffs.
-Strafing Primer. You swoop in before the fire or lightning wyverns do and light up the place with your ice breath, making your enemies unable to un-cluster from eachother, the resulting fire strafe or lightning strafe will hit more targets.
