How to join a play as dino server?

Im new to ark. Can you guys walk me through a step by step proccess on how to join a play as dino server?

Use https://www.battlemetrics.com/servers/search?sort=score&q=Play%20As%20Dino&game=ark or check the mod page for 'servers using this mod'

To install the mod, just click 'subscribe' on it's page in the Workshop. Wait until it finishes downloading, then start up Ark. When you get to the main menu look in the bottom right of the screen and it should say 'Installing Mods 1 of 1 (Play as a Dino)' or something like that. Wait until that writing goes away before doing anything, may take a bit of time as that mod is pretty big.

Then as Vesuvius said, find a server and locate it in the server browser, or connect to it directly.

How do i connect to the server directly? Ive seen the server ip, but how do i directly connect to it?

All servers are listed on battlemetrics.com

Battlemetrics.com has join buttons.

It keeps saying something about making sure the servers are using the latest mods or some crap. If theres a serveer youd like to recomend to me (U.S.A, Play as dino) please give me the link

I cant recomend any at all since i dont play that mod.

This is because

A: you have an outdated mod that is on that server or...

B: the server has an outdated mod and needs updating or...

C: There is a mod on the server that you are not subscribed to but steam thinks you are (happens when using family share and when running 2 Ark accounts on 1 pc)

When I try to join it directs me to the query port and asks for a password but there isn't one
