Triceratops with glowing red head. (Night)
I know that predator dinos that glow red are alphas, but this is a three horned herbivore dino at one of the easy spawn points in the island map. On the first night I look out of my shelter and there is a three horned dino with a glowing head walking around.

That's their rivalry buff. Only trikes get it, and only in the presence of apex predators like rexes and spinos.

I don't know about alpha trikes, it only gives them a buff about the same as mate boost...

Yes. From the Rare Sightings mod.

Good mod for events on unofficial servers, as they drop some pretty darn nice loot and can be hard to kill (except when you get an Alpha Achatina or Dodo - EASY LOOT!).
