Baby Mature speed & Cuddle Interval
*I know there are lots of posts on this topic, but I just want a clear answer to do with the main-menu sliders

Hi,
I'll just cut to the chase: I'm on single player on ragnarok. I want to be able to breed dinos and hatch wyverns. Sooo, i'm looking to see if anyone knows how these sliders (or numbers, if you put them in manually) work. I know you have to ajust the cuddle interval down to make it fit in with the mature speed. Let's say if I want a Giga to take around 2-2 1/2 hours what numbers do I put in.

Basicly make everything for breeding (and hatching) suited for singlpeplayer, meaning to breed trike it would take say an hour instead of like 10.

Thanks to anyone, any help would be appreciated!!!:steamhappy::steamhappy::steamhappy:

Trial and error works best. Set the time between mating to 0 so dinos can constantly mate and tweak the settings as you test different speeds.
20 maturation speed works pretty well for most things if you want it all to be nice and fast. If it isn't fast enough for you, take it to 40 and see what you think, then adjust from there.

These are the settings I use in my games:

MatingIntervalMultiplier=0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001
EggHatchSpeedMultiplier=30.0
BabyMatureSpeedMultiplier=37.0
BabyCuddleIntervalMultiplier=0.03

They allow females to mate again almost instantly. Small dinos such as raptors mature in around a half hour, while larger creatures like quetzals and gigas take 3-4 hours. Imprint interval usually works out somewhere between 10-15 mins.

Feel free to tweak these to make them a little faster if you wish, but the awkward thing is if you have them too quick, then while larger creatures will mature in a nice timeframe, smaller ones will often grow up way to fast to get a full imprint. It is possible to get balances at some settings, but some just don't seem to work no matter what you do.

But have a play around and find something that works for you^^

Thank you both. I'll certainly try theses out and tweak etc.

Also, Hermit, does your cuddle interval change for different creatures or is it always, as you said, 10-15 mins? thanx

I don't believe the cuddle interval is creature-specific, but there is a degree of RNG to it. Sometimes you may get a low roll and the creature will want attention in just 8 mins or so, where other times you may have to wait 17 or 18 mins. But it's rare that you get such extremes, and the average tends to be in the middle, around 12 mins.

Ok thanks for clearing that up. Thanks for the other info too!

These settings are working great with my new 185 poision wyvern. Am gonna do some testing with trikes, rapter etc later too see what needs to be adjusted.
