So yes... a higher number will increase resistance to damage.

Then a higher number would increase the damage taken.
The reason why I ask is because, funny enough, that's exactly how damage resistance works for players.
A lower multiplier (say, x0.5) will DECREASE the amount of damage a player will take. A higher does the opposite.
In this case the higher the number... the more damage recieved. Default is 1.0
Alternatively if you increase/decreaee wild dino damage instead on bosses
