try bronto it torpor drops slow and is faster than therizino to tame.also nothing will attack it at the beach. Is almost fast as a trike
Iguanodon is better than parasaur to choose from those two as parasaur's berry gathering is hard and slow

Try the Iguanodon. Only a short tame, and it's pretty good for berries.

Iguanadon is a great early mount and berry gatherer. Just pump weight and health. Can even defend you against minor threats. Maybe up to a single carno when leveled.

Why does anyone ever tame anything beyond a trike for berries? Trikes are king for those. Yes they don't gather as much per hit as other creatures, but with their movement speed they can hit several bushes in the time it takes other creatures to lumber over to one, so the gathering is actually as fast if not faster overall. Plus they're crazy easy to tame, and good tanks/weight mules too.

But bronto jungle tail swing lag is just too satisfying!

Trikes due to the weight to carry, not being too slow, having a small aoe range to gather, etc plus being decent at defense due to its damage/knock back if in trouble while gathering is a decent all around work horse.

Ultimately though theriz are one of the best if you set their harvest bonus points specifically for berry related gathering so you will want to plan for one of those in the future.

If you want a steady supply of berries you need a farm.

Iguanodon tame much faster than them, have higher movement speed than Trikes and stamina. If you can get a Trike that's higher level then yeah they're better than Ig's, or if there are no Ig's where you want to play.

Theris will get you berries verry quicly, as well as, wood, thatch and meat. You can level up their harvesting for what you want on the harvesting wheel.

Why not use Direbears? Easy tame with honey and gathers fibers too. Also breeding every gathering dino for extra speed and melee to get more with each hit.
