Fish simming out of water

This happens constantly, I walk up and down the beach and find either dead coelacanths or trilobites on land. This is getting very annoying to the point where I just dont want to play because of random sea predators sometimes going on land.

So far this has happened on ragnarok and the island, I havent tried many places but at the first spawn on the island.

Trilobites can normally survive on land, but as for the fish I don't know what to tell you. Maybe it's the same as the bug that someone saw where there were Eurypterids floating on the land attacking them on Ragnarok.

That exact thing happened to me aswell, Thats why I stopped playing. The thing kept killing me over and over

Trilobytes along beaches is normal, they are not restricted to the water. As for fish on land, how common is it? I think I've noticed it once or twice in my time playing. I'm sure it's a bug but even in the real world fish will sometimes get beached and die. It's not like megalodons are chasing anyone through the forest.

As said above trilobites do wander on land too. About the other creatures its a bug but yeah consider as free resources given to you.

When you're just starting its great to find dead creatures, that means free stuff with 0 risk. Meat and hide are precious resources at very early game.

At rag you can find beached whales and its not a bug, its intended. It gives you loads of spoiled meat which is also a great thing for very early game. You can craft narcotics which will level you up and easily do tranq arrows for your first tames.

It's like the fish spawn in and say "Existence is lame" and beach themselves

This usually only happens when the server is lagging. You know when you keep going the but you can't interact with anything. All the animals keep moving but in the exact direction they were heading from the moment of disconnect. Its just a large lage spike. When the server catches up and starts sending packets again your client seeings things reverts back to where they were.

That's most common cause.

Have you tried verifying game files.

They did a major correction for this back in beta. Haven't seen much of it since. Perhaps some of your game files are corrupted?

Been going for approximately 40 mins and its at 60%

Actually, upon playing further, the game seems to have fixed itself and the wwierd animals were all spawned before I fixed it.
