No you cannot since the game cannot be purchased or installed on Epic Games.

Steam can only play with Steam, ps4 can only play with ps4 and Microsoft can only play with Microsoft.

ark will be offered on epic games launcher guys, you didn't know ? as ark is official/private server based, for sure you'll be able to play with your friend

ARK is going to be given away for free in about 2 weeks, that was leaked a while ago

They can give it for free whenever they want as long as there is no crossplay the epic version will be as usefull as a dimetrodon

said in the released patch notes that, if the server has a command like -epiconly you can play with steam users BUT if the srver has mods u cant

I`m on 50% download now on epic launcher .. I hope there is no crossplay so newbie from that platform have a chance to play on official server. and also i hope chinese pags won`t infect the platform with there grief virus..

Epic players can only play steam servers if:

1. No mods
2. Server side setting allowing epic players is enabled.
