Just testing out some things on my SP game before me and my mates head off to do the bosses on our server.

Tried to take a Giganotosaurus into the Broodmother and it didnt come with me....

Can they not be taken to boss arenas?

I believe there is a way to bring gigas into boss fights with cryopods but for the most part no you cannot bring a giga into any arena.

the reason why giga's can't access many of the boss fight's in ARK is simply because they are too heavy as the creature's drag weight to enter boss arena's MUST be 560 or less, anything above that can't enter and this is why a giga can't enter boss arena's as the drag weight for a giga is 4000, however creature's such as a T-Rex, Spinosaurus or Yuty can enter as they are just light enough to be allowed

the only boss arena i know of that giga's can get to legit are the arena for the Titan's in extinction since their arena's are out in the open meaning that ANY creature can get to them since extinction's boss arena's dont have the drag weight and creature limit rule

to find out your creature's drag weight your gonna want to use an elevator platform and remove anything that add's weight like saddle's from the creature so you can see their official drag weight....or you can go to the ARK wiki and look at it there

You can take it on modded servers, but it's not good idea, becouse of gigas rage mode... (seen that once)
