Can artifacts spawn with bases close?

So I came to valguero to beat the bosses so I'm doing alpha, I go to the destroyer spawn and some punk built a huge base with a forcefield and turrets next to it, {Not on the spaw} The artifact is not there, is it bc of timer of being taken, or can it not spawn now?

Should still be able to spawn yes. On my solo game I have small bases with beds set up beside artifacts so I can bed-port to them whenever I need them, and they still spawn regardless.

Any update on this? I am one of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ built near it (private server) and it was spawning in just fine when we first set up base and only stopped spawning after a few days.. maybe we moved too close?

soooo.. this issue has not been fixed, our alphas are still being asses and telling us to just do it off of scorched earth, but ye, not spawning there anymore =c You may have had moved to close if its not spawning anymore

soooo.. this issue has not been fixed, our alphas are still being asses and telling us to just do it off of scorched earth, but ye, not spawning there anymore =c You may have had moved to close if its not spawning anymore

Final say goes to your server owner/admin doesnt it?.... you are clearly on an unofficial if they are able to build on an artifact spawn.

yes, also they didnt build ON it, they built right next to it, maybe 3 foundations afar from it? But the owner of the server says its a free-for-all PVP, we can wipe their asses if we wanted to, and theyd be fine with it

yep, we already got the artifact rn anyway from scorched earth, as this was like a month ago lol!
