How to collect drop from defence unit?

Hello,
I try by hatchet and chainsaw but nothing get. On wiki i read that defence unit from extinction should give element dust. Can anyone tell me how to get it?

They didn't drop any originally, but as I recall they were adjusted to drop resources some time after Extinction released. Are you using any dino mods which may affect them in any way?

No I believe it's correct. I haven't been on Extinction for a while so I can't really check it recently, but I believe they have now added drops to the defence units, where before they had none. As far as I remember from reading the patch notes.

Ok so how collect it? Only mod that can change dinos is Archaic Ascesion

Okay, I had a quick look over that mod, and it looks like it replaces all vanilla dinos with modded variants, including the defence unit. Question - do you have admin access in your game? If so, try spawning in a vanilla defence unit with the command below, and see if you can harvest resources from that. If you can, then it'll be an issue with the mod: the mod author will have to update their variation to have the correct drops.

I use a pick or an axe all the time on the ones i encounter, you can get dust from tek dinos now so look for them also.

You could perhaps try loading up a game in single player with that mod equipped, that may give you your answer.
