Rock Drake randomly walks off after dismount?

About, say 10% of the time, when dismounting my drake just walks off and wont stop for like 8 seconds. Anyone else experience this. I'm kinda new to drakes.

I have and not with rock drake specifically. I've had it with argi, rex and raptor too

I found a fix. Everytime you dismount, jump and land the rock drake. This makes sure he stays put. Not Sure what to do about your rex tho, sorry.

I've seen this happen with a thylaco, but never with a drake. Query - you say you're on the Valguero map, so are you using the mod made by the devs of that map to add drake spawns there, or is the drake transferred from another map? I'm just wondering if perhaps the issue is because the drakes are mod creatures rather than vanilla, and so may be using slightly different (buggy) code to the standard ones.

Well, the devs told me that they are using vanilla.

I Usually Hotkey my Whistle "Stop All" to something fast because of this.

This is a thing that can happen with any and all dinos and has always existed in this game. It's not exclusive to drakes or wyverns, nor is it new.
