If on single player, just press TAB twice and in the text box at the bottom of the screen type
getallstate Tusoteuthis_Character_BP_C
On the big black section of the screen at the top it will write a list of any tusos it finds, each one on a new line, so you can tell how many there are.
Alternatively on a server, just press TAB once and use the server admin password to enable cheats. Then press TAB once more and type
admincheat getallstate Tusoteuthis_Character_BP_C
That will output the same list, but it will put it in the server log window rather than the in-game console, so look there for any results.
Third option, but this is a bit cheaty so you may not want to do it - If you have the Structures Plus mod you can spawn in a tek transmitter and some element, then in the radial menu when you place it down you have an option to scan for specific dinos. This will bring up a list which, when you click on one of the names, it will take you to a map showing the general area that creature is in.
Spawn codes (as above, if you are in single player you won't need the 'admincheat' bit, but on a server you'll need that and your admin password too):
admincheat GiveItem "Blueprint'/Game/Mods/StructuresPlusMod/Misc/Transmitter/PrimalItemStructure_TransmitterPlus.PrimalItemStructure_TransmitterPlus'" 1 1 0
admincheat giveitem "Blueprint'/Game/PrimalEarth/CoreBlueprints/Resources/PrimalItemResource_Element.PrimalItemResource_Element_C'" 25 0 0
Don't forget to do a dino wipe before you check, otherwise all the old creatures will still be taking up spawn points so no new ones will spawn anyway, even if tusos would be able to spawn then.
