Aberrations best org polymer/chitin gatherers?

As the title says im looking to see what the best dinos to use on Aberration to collect organic polymer and chitin are. Currently have a lvl 500 ravager with about 2200% melee that gets around 150-180 polymer from crabs and roughly 200 chitin from scorpions.. is this my best bet or is there something better?

Ravagers are aweful at gathering, a chainsaw is the best organic polymer gather.

Are chainsaws able to be made on Aberration? I thought that was a scorhed earth only item

Even a spino would be better at that, not to mention fighting karkinos with your ravager is a risk of it getting grabbed. I'm guessing you play either singleplayer or unofficial in order to have a level 500 ravager, so... I'll just recommend you get and use a megalosaurus or spino for most stuff.

On SP/unoffical you can make anything on anything if you configure the settings/use mods.

Im not playing single player someones using a hosting site for the server. Im pretty sure i can't use the chainsaw on this map thats why i was asking whats the best thing to use on Aberration

Rock drakes gather it fairly well and if can "fly" several stacks back to your base at one time. With decent melee- they rip through crabs easily

Thats an unoffical server, you can ask the host to have it accessable on the server. If thats not possible, so far the best gatherer i;ve use is an ascendent axe. Milage may very on server.

Lmao i have 2 actually.. we have an upgrade station mod that lets you go upgrade weapons and tools all the way up to ascendant provided you have the materials.. each upgrade the cost goes up but clubs are just wood and fiber.

Moschops levelled in Polymer gathering for polymer, funnily enough. Anything really for chitin, Spino, Megalo, crab, drake, they're all going to get plenty of chitin from crabs.
