Ghillie armor
Does it reduce the retecction range of water creatures? Does it reduce the detection range, when player wear not full set of armor?

I believe each individual piece adds a small amount of range reduction, which adds up to the total when you wear the full set. So yes, even just a few pieces will reduce agro slightly, although not by much.

And I believe they work on water creatures too, although I can't say for absolute certain.

I heard from somewhere the set does about 50% range reduction? Combined with going prone, it can actually be pretty handy in some cases.

You could use the Kraken's Better Dinos mod, it has craftable shark repellent,(along with tons of other cool things and useful modifications to vanilla dinos) which works just like the bug repellent, lowering the aggro range dramatically, but specifically for sea creatures.

I play the official Small Tribes.

Yes, ghillie stacks with crouch/going prone. And it also stacks with cactus broth from SE, which reduces agro range in itself. I don't know if the broth works on sea creature agro ranges since it's from a desert map, but I assume they use broadly the same mechanics as land dinos.
