Fatal Error Valguero Single Player

Everytime i load my single player valguero map it crashes on valguero_dino_spawn section before i load in and i get a fatal error read out. This happened after multiple cave crashes. I have tried deleting valguero dino spawn files and re verifying with no luck. I have also taken out the last 3 save game files to see if they were corrupted but its the same crash. I have tried loading into singleplayer extinction and it works perfectly fine. Please help.

It moves past the dino spawn loading bar onto the the far and nears, then loads me in.

Backup your save folder ... then delete the character profiles and try again

Game has been working for years and still works on offical valguero and other maps including singleplayer maps just not single player val.

Doing what i suggested will nail down or eliminate if irs a corrupt character file.

I deleted both of these and it still crashed at same point with same error code and did not replace these files either (i have copied them back into the folder)

Only other suggestion ive got is to run a dedicated server and play SP on it.

ANSWER: So it was a corrupted save file. The file Valguero_P.ark is the latest save file(i thought it was ones with the dates only). I fixed it by deleting Valguero_P.ark and renaming the latest save with date in the name e.g. Valguero_P_06.10.2019_47.57.45.ark to Valguero_P.ark

How to I access the save files? I'm having the exact same issue, but cannot find where the save file is for the map. (I am quite aware that this is now 6 years after the original post, but this is the only one I can find)

Post #6 has the file path for you. It just may be on a different initial drive, not H: drive. Look on the drive on which you installed Steam, or if you have a separate location for your Steam Library files, look on that drive instead.
