The red/purple zone

Is there any way you can get your tames out of the red/purple zone after getting a rock drake egg? I haven't been there yet but want to prepare.

Not if you take the shortcut. At least, not without going through that god-awful reaper maze. Suppose if your server has local cluster transfer enabled, you could also find a beacon and upload your dinos, then DL them back at base.

The best would be to use a rock drake and simply walk on the walls. If you want a land way then there is only one way. I stole my first egg on spino

Just a half hour after reading this I saw a newly uploaded vid on Youtube where Syntac runs the whole path down to the red zone and shows coords on a gps, so people can find it. Figured it was relevant here:
