Dino stuck after Kaprosuchus attack

My raptor got grabbed by a wild kapro that i killed before it hit the ground, and when it disintigrated she was stuck in the "grabbed" state and I cant ride her, or move her. I tried the whole ghost cheat but it didnt work. Solo play

Me and my friend have not had this bug with kapros, but we have had other similar issues. We found that using a bola on the dino or the player affected seemed to fix them.

Thanks for the advice, but unfortunately I died because I suck at this game :D

My sympathies, the swamp can be a nasty place :( But if your raptor didn't die before you and you got no death message for it, it may still be there for you to go and pick up. And if not, hopefully at least you'll have another possible means of escape to try if it happens again.

lost 2 300+ mosas to the same bug in the last few days. Get grabbed by squid attempt to tame squid die come back kill squid and mosa is stuck, wont respond to commands wont move until it eventually falls thru the world and dies.
Not messing with squid until they get fixed

Same bug, my character got stuck in the ground after getting free from a Kapro, no admin cheats would get me out of it either.

Cant find any info on this anywhere, just had this exact problem with my raptor. Bola did not work. He eventually lost life and died.

I got the same bug just now and if anyone still has this problem, you will need to tranq your raptor and after it wakes up everything should be fine.

Same problem with raptor after Kapro, and then with my ptera after attacked by a Thylacoleo, seems things that grab have glitches associated with it, my raptor was stuck under the surface for about a week, but did not take damage, so i put a feeding bin and just came every once in a while to check on it, after about a week I noticed it was a bit lower than before, so i tried to get it to follow me and that time it could (before it couldnt move) so i drew it to a cliffside and after a bit of nudging and some other dino attacks it broke free.
Now i have this thing with my ptera and im afraid im gonna have the same window, this time its in the redwoods, so not as 'safe' as before.

Sorry bout the long post, just needed to vent lol

Oh yeh, this thread. I posted above that I hadn't seen this glitch - since then I have, twice, and it's very annoying. Lost two very high level, imprinted raptors to it, and almost lost a third, but mercifully restarting the server fixed that one. This needs looking into asap, definitely.

Yep, this happens with the Kentro's too. The only thing I've found that works is to hope to god a beacon comes down so you can transfer it. calls, picking them up with birds, following to water, nothing has worked for me.

Hey Update, I came on today and found my bird flying wildy around a snake, since i had him on neutral/agro (i forget which) if he broke free. He was at half health but still ok, it was about 17 hours from when he got stuck. Maybe you need them on aggro to keep em wiggling?

This didn't work for me either. it was almost as if it could not be seen by wild dinos, they completely ignored it.

Yes same with mine, but perhaps having the dino on agro causes it to turn in circles until it is free? Just a thought

that happened at first with the ptera, it was next to the tree in the air. after i killed the creature it looked like it was just sitting there, then after trying to get it to follow me and not working, it somehow fell onto the ground, but i was unable to do anything to it. then after relogging it went underground. Idk, all I can say is it needs to be fixed, I got lucky, but I'd rather not test my luck again.
