Reset level?
Is there a way or command to reset your level to let's say 75?

cheat addexperience 98000 0 0

That code above will give you level 75 in normal settings, and the link below will tell you how much EXP you need for other levels.. but do remember it is only 'add' and you can't 'set'

You can craft mindwipe tonic in game to remove all your engrams and stat levels, so you can reassign them how you wish. But you keep your character level doing that, you can't drop levels. Not sure if that's what you're asking tho...

Actually no it won't. You have to have 'admincheat' at the begining not just cheat. And you may have to activate cheats if you are playing on a local server and not singleplayer.

enablecheats *password*
admincheat addexperience 98000 0 0

I sometimes have trouble getting the above to work, and occasionaly I will have to use the commands in this order:

enablecheats *password*
setcheatplayer True
admincheat addexperience 98000 0 0

Then you should be all set. Btw all of these are done in the game console by hitting F1 or whatever you have it bound to. Typing these into the chat box will give absolutely no effect.

It sounds like he's not that level yet to begin with. At least thats how I read it.

I figured at the point he asked for 'command' he knew the basics, but I guess more details is always fine.

The fact that he used 'reset' instead of 'set' struck me that he had already attained and gone past that level, and wanted to go back to it again.

Sry, didn't mean to seem like I was trying to be a know it all or anything guys. But you two are right, I think we need more input from OP as to what his intentions are if we are to help him further.

But normally I just assume someone asking the question knows nothing and explain it from there. That way if someone else has the same problem and don't know the basics, it can help them too.
I'm level 86 and want to go back to level 75. Sorry if I wasn't clear before. I accidentally used the add experience command on myself instead of just my Dino.

No worries, it didn't come across that way^^

Ah yes, I can identify, done that myself in the past >,<

Sadly there isn't any way to remove xp from a player, no (although it would be a very nice option, and kinda a no-brainer, dunno why WC hasn't added one yet). I think the only option to reset yourself back to your previous level would be to make a new character, use console commands to transfer control of your base and dinos to the new character, then give yourself xp up to the level you want.
Ahhh yes thank you. What is the command for transferring tribe control?

I don't think there's a command to 'transfer' the tribe control. But there's a way, just a little workaround.

ForcePlayerToJoinTargetTribe <PlayerID>
ForcePlayerToJoinTribe <PlayerID> <TribeName>

Both of the commands do the same thing, but first one works by looking at structure or dino that belongs to certain tribe you want the player to join, the second one you specify both.

To find out about certain player's ID, type in 'Showmyadminmanager' as your command and it'll show you the HUD about it. But I've never really used this since I use a mod called ACM(Admin Command Menu) to do it so I'm sorry I can't guide you through after you're there x.x
Ahh thanks I'll try it it out. I bet the playerID is your steam64 ID.

Can't you just quit adding points after a mind wipe once you level up to 75 ordeal? (You don't have to add all levels, after a mindwipe...)

Correct, your engrams and stats get set to base, and your level is set to 1. You total EXP remains, and you can level up as far as you want up to the level you mindwiped at!

Alternatively GiveAllStructure and GiveToMe.

Yes but he'd still have levels to spend, so he wouldn't know when he leveled up any more and he'd have that annoying green 'Level Up' writing at the top of the screen permanently.
