Do Achatina's eat anything besides veggie cakes when tamed?

If this is the case, that's kinda silly. I've tried meat, spoiled meat, berries, veggies, no luck, do they only eat veggie cakes?

I hope there's a server option for this at some point. When you have an entire tribe those cakes may not be much of a problem to make, but I play mostly solo and they're an awful lot of work for me. If there isn't an option to have the snails eat something else, they would probably be too much upkeep for me to ever bother taming them...

I would imagine they will. Remember, you need rare mushrooms to initially tame the kangaroo, but once tamed, it'll eat berries.

I checked, it didn't eat anything else. I gave it berries, meat, spoiled meat, sap, rare mushrooms, flowers, vegetables, beer, pretty much any food item, and it didn't eat.

Mine doesn't eat anything from the trough, and when I put cake in the trough, it ate it, I don't understand how yours is eating.

They're probably like spoiled children when tamed, they only eat their sweets and no vegetables or berries.
