Yes it is, the maker started on Valhalla but realised that he'd made the map so big he couldn't add all the features/details he wanted and allow the game to still run it, so he started again with a smaller map - Rag. So while Valhalla is the biggest map in terms of land space, it's also quite sparse and desolate, without that much detail to it.
Project Dinotopia is amazing, Olympus and Hope V3.3 are also really good decent sized. Out of all of them, Crystal Isles seems very large, and Iso is still adding to it! Hope this helps! :)
The Devs will go back to it but not until Ragnarok is finished.
I would recommend Ragnarok as a big map. They are about to release the last stages of it this month, maybe next (WC time 😉).
You might just find Valhalla to glitched, plus as it hasn't been supported for sometime a lot of the new creatures are not there.
