Doedicurus lag on farm (Unoficial server) solution?
Actually im hosting a server with high rates (x10) but ive seen that issue even on a x2. While farming stone with a doedicurus server start getting rubberbanding and in some cases makes lag (high latency). Problem looks to be the item counting when looted, if you get 300 stone per hit, server "stops" till it counts every single stone 1 by 1 instead of do the direct math/calculation of how much it get on that hit. Ive searched around google but no luck on a solution, just an old patch with a "fix" that isnt working now. Im scared because in some servers people use this as crash exploit. Any ideas? Thanks!

UseOptimizedHarvestingHealth=true

You can try that command, although I've heard some say it fixed the lag, but also capped collection amounts too low for them.

That makes tools useless since they fail hits, with an axe you hit a tree and it doesnt give wood till the second hit, then again you have to hit 2 times to get wood again. Same for pickaxe and nodes...

Ok then this "can" be the reason. Either his machine can be to weak or his internet connection/ping may be the problem.
Lag caused by high gathering (10x like your server) isn´t something new but it shouldn´t happen at 2x, for me this is a sign that the server can´t handle it.
How many people are playing on that server? Mods installed? Do you know which connection (upload speed) your friend has?
Does your friend host it on a dedicated machine or is he playing on the same machine he´s hosting the server?

Machine is by far better than hostings and a 300/300mb conex. 0 lag, just the optimized harvesting heal option makes you get only 1 thing instead of some of every. If u pres E on a plant it gives only mejoberry, next time you pres E again you get only amaberry. If you chop a tree it doesnt give you anything till you hit it again, same for stones, metal... Without the "Optimized harvesing heal" option, you get of everything, you can chop trees getting every resource on every hit. Thats how works the "Optimized harvesting heal", thanks to it, doedicurus doesnt make server lag and/or rubber. Doedicurus lags on all servers that doesnt use the "Optimized harvesting heal".

Can only attest to my own experience, Harvest settings at x10 sometimes x15, Old hosting GTX servers, Utter ♥♥♥♥♥, Laggy & bandy as ♥♥♥♥.... Now on SS & can have it at x25 although we never use that & use a level 2000 Bokito while harvesting without lag..... so id say it was down to the CPU of the server as thats the only difference between the 2 hardware speaking...

But using or without using the harvest healt optimization option? Because if you fly with a quetz and a doed farming stone around, it lags YES OR YES. CPU is only at 20% and ping always around 20

I never used harvest health optimization, but what makes me wonder is that you even got lags with 2x harvesting. I run an dedicated ark server on a fairly old amd office cpu with 8gb ram and an old harddrive behind a 10mbit upload connection and i play with 3x harvesting without a problem.

Machine is perfect and much better than anyone of your, even conex. Server is never at 25% of anything, no one on server have lag, it does when harvesting with doedicurus. Come on im trying to solve that normal and for all problem because it has been said by devs its already a problem for everyone, stop saying "mine works perfect" because that sadly says you dont know about ark.

Ive tested it on my computer, i7 6700k 16gb ram SSD 1070g1 gaming, win10, with and without raw sockets, still same problem, with doedicurus farming stone during 2 minutes makes rubber, try it by yourself before saying your works perfectly.

It has to do with the way the resources are being stacked in the inventory container. Since you are doing 10x it is making things a lot more complex, this mod will make it a lot easier by making the stacks of stone in 5000.

I can just tell you that i on my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ server can farm perfectly fine with a Doed on 3x rate, i get thousands of stone in no time. I also had a server rented at nitrado last year where we played 4x, also without a problem. Where did you read said comment from the devs?
And again, what i don´t get is why you´ve got the same problem even with 2x, i mean 2x works on official at weekends.

Does your server run any mods? Stacking mod? Or Dino mods, you´re sure the Does is "vanilla"?

We use this mod or similar so is this why we dont have issues, Also we had issues using the old GTX server I take it thats cos they just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucked lol... & it wasnt a troll ive not heard of that setting...
