A pot is more for liquids, like stews and such. Whereas a hunk of meat is usually roasted or barbecued over a flame, without water.

If you're gonna cook something with a pot, you're going to be making some sort of stew. If you're just cooking meat, use a grill or fire.

Yeah, it's still dumb. So what if pots aren't usually used for cooking meat directly? There's a perfectly servicable fire right underneath the pot that could still be used.

Game really needs a tier between Primitive and Industrial. Like a wood stove or being able to cook meat in the refining forge since it looks a little like a pizza oven.

There is a area already for that which is primitive plus . Would be nice if they added some of it to main game and not just a total conversion.
