Favourite and least favourite dinosaurs on ARK?

Hey everyone! Thought I'd get a friendly discussion going on what everyone's favourite and least favourite dinosaurs/creatures on ARK, and why.

Personally, I hate Troodons and Titanoboas, and love Procoptodons and Megaloceros.

I hate Troodons because I'm constantly getting ambushed and killed at night- they're extremely overpowered, being REALLY fast, strong, and basically able to knock out any player within seconds. I hate them.

I hate Titanoboas because they're creepy. Seeing a Titanoboa just automatically makes me turn around and go back. Plus, they're fairly useless because you can't even tame/ride them. They're just- eughhhh.

I love Procoptodons because they're giant kangaroos!! What's not to love? They're fast, have awesome jumps, and I just love their animations. Also, pouch. Enough said.

I really like Tuesotuthis because they are absolutely CRAZY SCARY, but that's what I love about 'em. To see them lurking in the depths is exhilarating! I also love anglers because anglerfish are my favourite animal IRL, soooo..

I really like Direwolves just because to me they're just cuddly dogs (who are also just really handy for base protection and speed)

What about everyone else? What's your favourite and least favourite dinos, and why?

My favourite is the Therizinosaurus, because they're slow enough when wild to be able to outrun them on foot but when tamed they only need a few points in movement speed to be fast. They're also strong and can harvest berries, fibre wood and thatch which is great too. Multi use, herbivourus rexes with the ability to do a 180 without having to run around the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ map first.

Least favourite is Trrodons. Super overpowered in my opinion - my moving accross the map with all my dinos took double the time it should have today, because every single time I got off my dino to go back and get the others that got stuck somehow, a troodon would smack me around. One hit KO if you're not loaded with stimulants.
At nght I can't get off the coast without a mount. I realise it's just my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ luck a lot of the time but I rarely encounter a pack of less than four.

From my experiencie the pegomastax has been the one and only one besides pteranodon that has been with me more than any other dino and it's secret ability to kill everything on the shadows, sit on my shoulder and actually don't bothering me are all makes it my favorite tamed dino. Whilst others i have replaced nor left behind.

I don't really hate any dinos right now that i learned how they behave and how to fight them (some fortutide and a couple of white berries or stims and troodons are a faster dilo with a couple more hitpoints)

My favorite is the carbonemys and least favorite is arthropleura.

I like/dislike lots of different dinos for lots of different reasons, but I'll try to keep this post reasonably short.

Likes:

Spino - Much cooler than the rex, and does more DPS, not to mention it's a good swimmer too. Great apex predator type pet.

Mantis - looks awesome, plus if you get some HQ tools and weapons in it's claws it becomes the most versitile mount in the game.

Diplocaulus - Ocean exploration without a scuba suit...love it!

Tusoteuthis - Looks absolutely insane, and with the abillity to grab and hold so many large dinos it's incredibly powerful.

Jerboa - Because adorables.

Therizino - Not used it much yet, but that is fast becoming one of my faves too. Love their versitillity with the power and harvesting abillity, and they have stamina for days.

There's also a lot of animals on this game that are so ugly and creepy that they actually become cool and I actually start to like them because of that. Arthroplurea, angler and titanboa are among that group.

Dislikes:

Wild giga - not balanced in any sense of the word, it's just silly. I've removed them from my single player games.

Pegomastex - a bit too 'troll-y' for my tastes. If it were slower moving, only spawned solo not in groups, and was a bit easier to see then I might be able to put up with them. But as it is I've had to remove these from my solo games too...the giga and these are the only two I've removed.

I have many favourite dinosaur, but only one arch enemy:

Love megaloceros as a Supermotard/Forma 1, I put all the points in speed, just for fun and trust me, its incredible.

I enjoy a lot Dire Bears, simply because they're bears, its pretty how ark devolpers did their fur and they do lot of damage. Argentavis was my first love dinosaur when i started playing, a freaking super-sized bird with tons of hp, stamina and carry weight, now i realize they're pretty bad due their turn around. Everyone may love pteranodons, they're fast, easy tame mounts and strong.

My top favourite are Chalicotherium, I had interest in him but hasn't been til yesterday until i tamed one, its a BEAST, good damage, greater pushback, pretty as hell, she throws rocks, can carry a decent amount of weight and with some points in speed its fast enough, also her hp is good!

And dont forget about Tapejaras, the first moment i saw one i fell in love, prettiest dinosaur i've seen, a shame I don't have one yet (I want to catch one roleplaying, using Brontosaurus + Balista, everything is ready) its the Avatar dinosaur we all have been waitin. (Banshee).

Allosaurus has the best face, with his spikes... 3d designers are doing an outstanding job!

Then, my favourites are Chalicotherium and Tapejaras. I just hate one creature. Troodons, underrated ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ light-speed demons with lightsabers on his eyes that can Knockout you with one hit if you don't have stimulats/stimberries, and dont forget this modafukas always go on packs. Can't stand them; overpowered as hell

Could you explain how do you use your Pegomastax? I like them but I dont know how to use them well, they're squishy and do not do a lot of damage, whats the secret? Im willing to give them an opportunity

Favorite, definitely Mosasaur...

Least favorite? Probably Anglerfish, because they're a pain in the butt, not a challenge at all, just annoying because they constantly swarm you just to die to a single chomp. Ugh.

I like the Dilophosaurus because Mr Snuggles was the first creature i ever tamed and he stayed with me for quite some time, he eventually died buying me time to escape a pack of Troodon. I also like the Triceratops because in the early game these guys saved me from death several times, even later in the game my one tamed trike has rescued me from packs of Troodon four or five times.

Don't like Troodon.
REALLY don't like Troodon.

I should point out i only play singleplayer so i have no idea how good some of the more difficult tames are (Quetzal, Giga etc).

Pegomastax right now is my least favourite. Really hate how it sneaks up on me when I'm out harvesting/building and it steals my stuff and runs off before I can kill it.

My current favourite is my Tamed Trike that I ride up and down the beach area where I'm based mowing down and killing all the Pegomastax I can see. That's a satisfying way to deal with those sneaky thieves.

got few fav animals;
predator - spino, it's super-cool and can be used underwater.....so much cooler than rex...
taming dino - frog, you can shoot while mounted and that mean you can just hop away if in danger...does additional torpor with his tongue attack (left than right mouse click stacks) and ofc, goes underwater too
most crazy/weird - mantis, equip it with 600% sword and watch things die :)

not going anywhere without my perfect 120 Vulture, where i go he goes to :)

dislike; troodon's, kapro and other things that can lunge from distance at you

My favourite is Therizinosaur. Why? Because he's as strong as a rex and his footsteps dont make any noise like most of the big dinos.

My least favourite must be the Sarcos. They're hitboxes make them worthless.

Plesio might still be my fav overall but tuso is fast overtaking them, range of the tentacles and easy of manuevers easily tops every single other aquatic out there. Only drawback is no platform option, but I wouldnt want to be sandwhiched into this with anything less:

As for least, mantas - hyper aggressive, social aggro, like getting stuck inside or under aquatic tames. Tamed they are super fast, but explode easily.

1,500+ hours in game and yet I have not tamed all creatures nor tested which one is the best for x role.
