Can a bear trap, trap a trike?

All traps only last a max of 15 seconds. They are not that useful except for placing walls\taming pen around a dino.

Build a small pen with doorways on fence foundations and lead it in. When it gets inside plop the walls behind it to keep it from getting out. Some people will use a trap inside to hold it long enough to finish putting down the last walls, but I find that generally isn't needed.

But trikes are pretty easy to kite as are most Dino's with terrible turn radius

Luring works very well as long as you are careful. I never use catwalks, I always use doors and windows instead of walls to make the traps. Then you can just run around outside it shooting thru the openings, or even venture inside with the animal and dart back out again if it goes for you.

It takes a dino a lot longer to turn around and get back out the gate than it does for you to run around and close it.
