But trikes are pretty easy to kite as are most Dino's with terrible turn radius
Wait for something to wander in (or chase one in, not sure how well luring would work), then lock them inside and shoot them from a catwalk.
Luring works very well as long as you are careful. I never use catwalks, I always use doors and windows instead of walls to make the traps. Then you can just run around outside it shooting thru the openings, or even venture inside with the animal and dart back out again if it goes for you.
For escaping I could just have a door or a rope ladder, but I'm not sure how I would close the gate before it just leaves the box again.
It takes a dino a lot longer to turn around and get back out the gate than it does for you to run around and close it.
