Tek Teleporter Problem
Hello all, I'm playing on my single-player server seeing what the new tek gear is all about and I have an issue. I have placed 2 teleporters, both are powered but I cannot access the inventories of either one. The display for the inventory comes up but it shows my world map and the spawn regions like I were trying to respawn. The first one I placed is on dry land and the other is in the deep ocean where I built a tek underwater base (just testing to see if teleporters work underwater). I am playing on the Ragnarok DLC.

That it how it works, You click it, it shows you a map of all places where you have a powered teleporter, you pick one of those and you get teleported. Works exactly like a respawn bed except your stuff and nearby dinos go with you.

So what is not working?

There is no inventory option on either of my teleporters to put in the element.

They changed it, it no longer needs element to teleport. Teleports are now free as long as the Tek generator is running and connected so there is no inventory option any more.

From 260.0 patch notes
- Greatly reduced the Element cost of running the Tek Generator.
- Removed the Element cost for using the Tek Teleporter.

Alright! YouTube lied to me again. I wonder if it's not working bcause I have placed one in the deep ocean? And on the map it brings up I'm assuming the red x is the area of the other teleporters?

Does each of your teleporters have a Tek Generator connected, powered and with element in them? If they are not connected to a Tek Generator, they are not powered and will not show up as a teleport location. I know your first post send they were all powered. Just checking they are powered with a Tek Generator?

Also you have learnt the Tek Teleporter engram? (just spawning them is not enough, you need to KNOW the engram to use any tek device)

Yeah Yeah I have all that I found out underwater teleporters do not work which is a bummer. But thanks!

The S+ version works fine underwater.

you have to unlock it to be able to teleport . if you cheated it in , and not have it unlocked , yyou cant use it , but if you have it unlocked and learned , you can use it
