My person is constantly losing health at a very fast rate.
So my friends and I started up a hosted server. We played on the ARK map, but have recently decided to play the Center map. We have changed the settings in the game to were it's harder to play. Health is slightly higher, as where damage is a lot higher. When we switched maps none of the settings changed we just wanted a new start and a new place to explore. For some reason my character is constantly losing health, my friends don't have this problem. I've looked for leaches, had friends look for me, I have to have a lot of cooked meat on me more then what I usually need to help keep my health up, I would died at randoms times and have lost a lot of items. It has gotten to the point were we had to turn off food drain and water drain because if I got on i would die within the first few minutes.

I live near the snow north spawn and have spent a lot of resources creating clothing/armor to keep me warm, I also have campfires going all the time. I'm not sure if it's because of where i live that is causing the problem.

Is there an Ice Cube in the lower left hand corner while you're playing?

no there isn't i'm far away enough that the cold doesn't effect me, but there could be a glitch where the game thinks i'm to close still so i'll move. Thanks I hope this works

There could be, but if there was hundreds would be screaming about it.

You said you live near the north snow spawn. That whole area is a snow biome, even if it doesn't have snow on the ground. The plains around and between the mountains also have extremely low teperatures too, not just the mountains themselves.

So to be 'far enough away that the cold doesn't affect you' you'd have to be living in the swamp, or on the floating island itself. Granted if you have the fur gear as well, like you said above, then it's likely not gonna be the cold that is getting you...could be some kind of bug. But just because there's no snow on the ground where you live doesn't mean that it's not a cold area.

Try placing a small semi-circle of 4-5, campfires, lighting them up, and getting close, and seing if that stops you from taking damage.

Try letting yourself die, see if whatever's bugged gets reset.

Other than that...I dunno.

Even with a full set of primitive fur gear you can freeze to death on or near the snow biomes. Upgrade fortitude or fish for better fur blueprints.

As a low lvl player it is even easy to freeze in other parts of the map on cold nights.

Anywhere you get the icecube symbol(not the snowflake) you will loose health at a specific rate depending how severe the cold is.
