Pretty sure they won't attack wild life. Only their owner XD
From that aspect, tame hives are similar. If you collect honey, you will get automatically stung if you're not wearing a ghillie suit; you don't need repellant for that.
As to a tamed hive attacking, I don't think it will attack you if you hit it. If an enemy player hits it... dunno, but I doubt it would just sit there defenseless until it's destroyed and the queen becomes vulnerable.
I don't believe anything happens if a tamed bee hive gets attacked, sadly.
Correct, Anthomnia did that test and the Queen Bee inside the Hive didnt spawn any Drones or Giant Bees to defend it.

Pretty sure the tamed bee hive doesn't spawn bees when attacked.
