Icthyornis and his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stealing move

In what world are CANTEENS considered food items? Every time I get randomly aggrod by one of these little devils, all he does is steal my canteens every time. This is absolutely ridiculous and needs to be changed to JUST food items.

Pegomastax steals? they maul me to death and take no items lol. tried with meat, berries in the hotbar, they just maul one to death trying to steal, :joy:

They fixed that in one of the little updates

They fixed stealing kibble from dino inventories. The birds still steal any other item from dinos.

These birds are Satan. I wouldn't mind so much if they didn't functionally have the same health as an Argent (less HP but no easy headshots). I've set up camp on the beach but I'm starting to have a harder time surviving than when I was hanging out with the wyverns and the mantises.

they dont always drop your non food items, and if they do i seen them disapear soon as they hit the ground. lost lot of good items annoying little basterds with no hit box to kill them.

Every time they have ever taken things from me that aren't food, they immediately drop them. Now an egg I would think they would eat.

ive recoverd a few items that they stole, but for me anyhow its a roll of the dice if your gonna get your item back. if your lucky and play with no ground cover and can find the little brown box befoe the 4 min spoil timer and if it didnt fall thro the world you good.

I've never recovered anything they took from me, whether it's lost to the ether or they ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ drop it into the sea.

I will say that they are my first tame every time because the ability to just get prime meat from any animal is so useful. But ya they are jack asses and Ive lost so many good items to them its not even funny.

If it was just food, it wouldn't be as much of a problem. But I've had these birds stealing and EATING any kind of stackable resource. If anything, eating 200 flint makes even less sense than a canteen!

They have never dropped anything for me (Ichthyornis)..never ever..what they take is gone.. Seriously, I respect your opinion and experiences, but I swear you, they never drop anything.

I´m also for a change, so they stop stealing stuff that isn´t consumable. Furthermore the amount of what they steal should be reduced as well. No way can a bird steal stacks of stuff at once.

I´m fine with them stealing, it´s funny in a way, but when they steal your mastercraft longneck rifle out of the blue while you are killing a bronto sitting on your rex and destroy the item within seconds, the fun ends there. This is not funny.

Yeah I've had these thing steal weapons and equipment. F**king ridiculous that i can handle raptors or carnos but when it comes to seagulls... I live in fear :p
