The fastest flying mount?
Does anyone know what the fastest flying mount is with the new update?

Wyverns still move the fastest. The perspective makes it seem slower than it is. After that the Ptera. Both are able to outfly wild wyverns. I'm not sure any other flyer can. Haven't been silly enough to test as Pteras barely outfly them.

I am focusing on The Island right now since I am still quite new to the game, so I don't have the opportunity to get a wyvern yet :)

So its the pteranodon on The Island?

yes you can find it on beaches, use a bola and then hit him with a club to put him to sleep then feed him raw meat

Apparently Ichthyornis/Dimorphs are fastest flying mounts if you level them in speed, grapple it and then control with whistles (mainly "All move there" one).

Sticking with my Tapejara. Sometimes Speed isn't as important as Manueverability.

That works to just stick a grappleing hook to it and tell it where to fly? This changes everything...
