How to deal with Therizinosaur?

I'm extremely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ off now. Every damn time I go exploring or I tame something and I'm bringing it back to base, this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ strikes. I've killed a few stuck in trees and they have INSANE health. A level 2 took around 25 arrows to the head to kill.

They do INSANE amounts of damage. Another level 2 just killed my newly tamed level 13 Trike like it was nothing then ♥♥♥♥ed me and my raptor in the ♥♥♥♥. Both tames and me dead within 10 seconds. Absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t.

My only hope now is to take my newly tamed Carno on forages around areas infested with these ♥♥♥♥ers but I'm scared she'll die too. She's only level 5 at the moment. Any tips are appreciated :D

dont try they eat your carno too. my only advice is: dont get too close and tame one yourself. they are just broken af. whoever thought it would be a good idea adding a dino with these stats that also farms mostly everything must be on crack.

Ah so others are having this problem too? I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'll have to tame one myself then. Perhaps an army and then go taming and foraging.

Then we'll see those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ try to hug me in their claws. It looks like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bird and fights like a cornered T-rex. Unbalanced AF. Thanks.

It's only about the same stats as a rex. If it were as rare as a rex too then it'd be perfectly balanced, the only issue it has right now is overpopulation.

DinoSpawnWeightMultipliers=(DinoNameTag=Therizinosaurus,SpawnWeightMultiplier=1.0,OverrideSpawnLimitPercentage=true,SpawnLimitPercentage=0.10)

That line in the game.ini file will reduce their spawn significantly, and you can adjust the limit percentage to make it even more rare if you wish.

Tame a Therizino, they take an insane amount of narcotics, I also went through over 50 tranq darts.

As common as trikes are in the areas near my base. 2-3 are always prowling near where I used to fish and gather berries at ALL times all spread out down the beach just waiting for you to bump into them. I'm damn lucky they get stuck really easily right now.

I'll need a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of narcos then to have any hope of taming one. To gather berries in a timely fashion you need a trike. Without a trike I can be there for days farming berries. Maybe I do this after all I guess?

therizinos will leave you alone if you don't get too close, but they do as much damage as a rex with a lot less HP and are extremely hard to tame, but they're as good at farming as a mantis or a dire bear

they're one of those dinos new people should be careful not to fight, like brontos

Their agro range is horrific, you basically have to be tickling its balls for it to notice you. Just keep your eyes peeled and go around them

Theri's do spawn a bit too frequently but I like their power right now. They're basically a herbivore Tyrannosaur

dude level up some runspeed already, im guessing your one of those who cry about troodons too because you have base runspeed.

I am a new lvl 15, and I see them everywhere but they are very easy to avoid. You just have to keep an eye out. If it sees you, use the environnement to your advantages: rocks, trees ect. They are big, it's kinda hard to miss. :I

Troodons? Only ever been killed by a pack of them once. Runspeed is eh. I'd rather level stamina and carry weight. I use my raptor for travelling and I keep him close by on passive so I can jump on and ♥♥♥♥ off before he catches me.

It's only when leading a tame or in the process of taming that they ♥♥♥♥ me. Attack tame which means tame fights back or does nothing which means I try to save it which means we all die and this smug feathered ♥♥♥♥ struts off.

Anyway, the .ini fix worked. No more gangs of feathered freaks along my beaches haha.

That's what they're designed for, to be the herbivore equivalent of a rex. And they do it well - I once saw a lvl 16 rex and a lvl 16 theriz fight each other in the wild, and it was very close. The theriz won in the end, but it was bloody and on just a sliver of life left, and I think the only reason it won was because the rex had been fighting a couple of raptors before so was not at max health.

So in terms of strength and HP balance, they're pretty much spot on, able to go toe to toe with a rex but at huge cost to themselves. It's only their population that's the issue.
