Can't force Alpha Rex to spawn more naturally

The Dino Name Tag Mega Rex and the MegaRex_Character_BP_C does not seem to work properly as we've attempted multiple times to force the Alpha Rex to spawn more frequently.
First we just turned up the code in the game.ini file

DinoSpawnWeightMultipliers=(DinoNameTag="Elite Rex",SpawnWeightMultiplier=10,OverrideSpawnLimitPercentage=True,SpawnLimitPercentage=3)
But we're seeing no Alphas anywhere. Once in a blue moon. Alpha Raptors should be very common with a limit of 10 and 30 weight but nothing.

We just now tried to add this to the Carno island
ConfigAddNPCSpawnEntriesContainer=(NPCSpawnEntriesContainerClassString="DinoSpawnEntriesMonsterIsland_C",NPCSpawnEntries=( (AnEntryName="AlphaRexSpawner",EntryWeight=1000.0,NPCsToSpawnStrings=("MegaRex_Character_BP_C"))), NPCSpawnLimits=( (NPCClassString="MegaRex_Character_BP_C",MaxPercentageOfDesiredNumToAllow=0.02) ) )
This just forces normal Rexes to spawn, and nothing else, but no Alpha Rexes. Of course, the Alpha Rex does spawn through the normal Rex spawns but rarely. I had hoped to make Carno island an Alpha Rex nest but that doesn't seem to be possible.

Has anyone had luck with doing this or do I have to go the "mod" route to change such a thing?

Ive been trying today to get this to work myself and no luck. I have never killed an Alpha Rex as the only time I saw one was over a year ago when I had just started playing Ark! Ive never seen one again! Seen a total of 2 carno's, the last one was late last year! And 10ish raptors.

So, Ive been trying to bump the spawn chance, and no matter how high a value I put in, I cannot find any. The command is working, as I tried with Kangaroos which are normally rare and they were all over the place using the same parameters I had been trying for the Alphas.

Sure the Elite Raptor, Carno and Rex isn't one word? Every other Dino Tag Name is one word. EliteRaptor, EliteCarno, EliteRex?

I didnt try, will do later. I did try with and without quotations, as single worded entities dont need them, but I assume thats why. Shame they are so rare by default, as I said, havent seen an Alpha Rex in a year!

Wonder if its been fixed. I killed 2 raptors other day, and today a Rex showed up, killed it and spotted a Carno and another Rex before I logged! I left the ini's in to bump them, wonder if its working now or ....? Must be, I went a year without seeing a Rex and now 2 today? ^^'

Anyway, hope they keep coming. Need a buff them a bit tho

i just try it with SpawnWeightMultiplier=30.0
cheat getallstate MegaRex_Character_BP_C shows zero on map so i guess it doesn't work....idk

im guessing you already now these paramaters only change 'new' spawns and the spawns that already exist wont change. Meaning you will need to use destroywilddinos command or kill off all the mobs in the spawn area to see any changes
