Report a translation problem
1) The dilo was trying to follow you, but got stuck on a tree or a rock and couldn't figure out how to get free. Did you walk away from it once it was tamed? If so look all around that area.
2) The dilo went to attack something you attacked, or that was threatening you. Did you get into a fight after it woke up, perhaps attacking a creature that runs away like a parasaur, and the dilo ran after it?
3) You set it to wander around on it's own, or set it to aggressive, which makes it attack any creature it can see. Either of these could make it move off from where it was tamed and have it walk around the map on it's own.
4) If you're playing on a server, someone else might have come past and killed it. In this case you should have a death message in your tribe log.
