Transponder Nodes
I have on on myself, in hope I can use it to locate my corpse in the event of my death. Bu it's just so big. It's on my back, the most out of the way place. But they make it persist in first person. Meaning all I can see are huge petruding spikes, and the actual node itself because I can see my body is invisible in first person. I am sad. Any way to hid the tracker on myself, or to make my body visible? Either is better.

no, i don't think there's a way. The transponder nodes are horribly huge and always show up, stick out, are in the way, and most of the time, they don't even work very well. :(

I also doubt they will work on your dead body, they are tied to the creature they're attached to, I don't think it'll even show up after you died.

I wanted it specifically for under water, which happens to be where it sucks th most because it just floats infront of my face perminently under water. I also already used it for flying dinos. No matter how well you know the map, one of the bastards will find a way to run off.

They don't work on my body? This makes me sad and that is all your fault. :(

I think they'll work while you're alive. But I doubt they work on a DEAD body.

You know how it usually shows the creatures name and how far away it is? When it's on a dead body, what is it supposed to show? I bet it would get confused, because your dead body is not your character and it wouldn't know what to show.

You've given me enough to accept I don't want it for my body. Thanks.

Now the question of how to remove it... It's on my back and I cant highlight it. Suicide while testing if it'll work on a corpse?

yes, I'd try killing myself to see if it's gone. If it isn't... uh-oh.

Transponders do need some work to fix their appearance on server reload. I put them on all my dinos, but they often grow huge and invert, so they end up with spikes sticking out of the dino's flank or jammed up the poor animal's rear. Not exactly the most immersive feature.
