You can pretty much make it way easier if you download asm. You dont even need to set up a server but you can use that software to make custome loot drops save them and just copy the settings into your own ini files.

You can select exactly what item you want to have in which drop its a bit of work but ones its done its really nice and items from mods can be added too!

Just be careful to warn that some of the mods for beacon drops are broken/crash prone so choose such mods wisely.

I am not talking about beacon mods, but a 3rd party beacon making program. 'Beacon app'

It's awesome. Nice gui. Can alter anything with loot. Beacons, creatures, alphas, bosses, etc. Add modded items to beacons. And there is file sharing so you don't have to start from scratch.

Is there any good android apps that help with creating those codes? I do most of the modifying on my nitrado app

Doubt it. The beacon app is great, but I think you need a computer.

Custom beacon code can make the game.ini file extremely long. On Nitrado, you might not be able to just copy and paste it into web gui. You might need to use FTP to transfer your ini file.

hi hermit ive tried searching you on here but seem to find 4000 hemits and not you (typical)
I have a issue and you seem the go to guy for these kind of issues. im running a server trying to sort custom drops out via the beacon app problem is when ive edited my drops saved and deployed then copied and pasted gone on the game to test the drops half are just as I edeited but the other half i.e yellow purple and red are either empty or have odd item I never put in. ive tried doing the drops just for those drops one by one but get the same outcome. im not sure if im missing something or codes are to long. thanks

How do you host? Do you use FTP for the ini files? If not is possible your files are being truncated. Have you checked game.ini file size before and after the server is started?
