Daeodon AOE Heal - Not AOE and Useless
Daeodon's healing AOE - Only heals 1 dino in my group of dinos. So not Technically AOE. Then add to the fact it happens randomly 2-3 minutes.
Boss fight you get 5-7 pulses. Heals 1 random dino (not sure if its by % of max or a set number) but if it's percent then about 3% of health.
Daeodon = Useless as boss healer.

Jen, we took one of the piggys into a boss battle just a bit ago, had it almost over encombered with food that we helped carry over on our army of rex's. During the broodmother we saw it only healing a single dino while all the rest were being bloodied up and some dieing. We should have seen the aurora around all of them, but only one got healed, and it wasn't a range thing as we had many rex's closer than the one being healed was.

While we still beat the boss we were not impressed by the healing.
What was the Daeodon's hunger when you saw it only healing one? If it is zero or almost zero, I could see that happening. The food value decreases faster than it can eat if it is healing many creatures at once.

No problem, glad I could help! The Daeodon is pretty powerful, if you can keep up with it's hunger. :) They are piggies after all.
It's impossible to "keep" up with its hunger. Even healing a single creature it'll go to zero with ease.
It's also a very slow eater. Depleting a full food bar of 11k it only hate 11 pieces of meat. Is it supposed to eat faster? Raw prime seemed to be the best with 50 food restored but that's only once in a while.

I Force fed mine to full 6k food, and it healed 1 dino and went to 0 instantly.

So i have a level 28 Daeodon I tamed. No male boost and no pack boost. She had 3500 food roughly. I force fed her raw meat and I was healing a nearby Direwolf that I leveled in health for an additional 2500. It had about 1500 health to heal. It took a little over one minute to fully heal it and the food ran out on the Daeodon a couple seconds after it fully healed the direwolf. I was mounted at the time. I imagine it heals more while mounted?

Just doing some testing to get an idea of how much it heals per tick mounted/unmounted.
Also the dismounted pulse healing was healing about 100 health every 3-5 seconds with 2 females. Not accounting for lag spikes. the food drains slower this way I believe but heals less. Mounted it heals more but drains fast.

I know it stacks but I wonder if the healing factor increases the higher level it is. Or if pack boost or mate boost increases this. Now I wish dinos could eat soups that lowers the food consumption.

came out 217. food and torp drop moderately fast. doesnt take many darts at all.

either the dino name (inventory) or the saddle name is misspelled.

healhog AOE heal does NOT currently heal humans.

healhog seems to eat about 100 food per second when heal aura is on. keep eye on food, easy to kill ur hog!

AOE heal amount is not reliable. I have seen heals in the 100-700 health range per second.

Range for heal is approx 5-7 ankylo lengths away from hog (still within name visual range).

I suspect that the AOE heal will soon be nerfed as it feels extremely overpowered as it is - could easily be used to brute force hard mode bosses with good Rex Army I bet.

have not tested healing multie dinos at once or multiple hogs heal stack or not.

Improving the aoe of the heal and numbers healed is probably going to be some tek feature they'll add with special armoring or the like. Pretty easy to see them doing this to incentivize tek farming more.

when you compare this to dragon hard, its not a lot of healing and somewhat limited based upon how much food you bring for the Daeodon. A high health high food stat however is what I see putting points into for these dinos if they were used in such a way.

Not sure where you were able to make a Saddle for it. Says I need to make it at a smithy but I can't and its in my personal crafting menu, but says needs to be made at smithy.......

heal hog is suffering from the artificial eating cooldown nerf that was recently implemented on all dinos.
The saddle is craftable in the standard vanilla Smithy (S+ and AA: Smithy Mods haven't incorporated it yet) During my time using this piggy for boss battles it was a little finnicky but constantly used the heal when I told it to go ham at the boss, If you have set on Passive heal whilst it's attacking it won't heal, but disable passive heal and set it to "Attack my Target" it will heal constantly, Just be sure to fill it's inventory with Prime meat or Mutton if you have a stack mod installed, Otherwise go for a cubic ♥♥♥♥ tonne of standard meat.

Give the devs a little time to fix the issues it has, This is a new mechanic they have introduced after all.
