The admin of your server can build a website to display your dinos with that tool.

You can build something like that for the tamed dinos:

I use nodes on oifficial server and they work as intended. You can even place them on your own body in case you die and want to find your corpse.

Nodes do work, but aren't that cheap and not available untill later level. Same reason why a lot of unofficial servers have the map location enabled as the gps is comming pretty late in the game.

if on unofficial or single player you can use this, been out as long as the Pet Finder.
