Can't Find Body?

Is there some new "feature" where your stuff is gone when you die? Like do carnivores eat all your gear now?

I've died twice now, trying to get back on my feet. Each time, I go back to the exact spot where I died. Obviously the body is gone, because it got eaten, but I don't see my little pouch anywhere.

This is getting really annoying, considering how hard it is to get started in this game... Lost full fur gear and all metal tools twice now......

Playing offline, no mods or anything though.

You have a limited amount of time to get back before everything disapears. Sometimes what killed you will eat your body, in that case there will be a small brown bag left behind. If that is gone, either you took too long or you have experienced a bug.

sometimes your corpse / bag can fall through the ground due to a glitch but since you are playing offline i would suggest either of these 2 mods to help.
