Megalania, really dangerous?
I was thinking of doing a quick dive into the lower south east cave, but i haven't done it in ages and now these buggers are in there. How bad are they, especially the rabies since the wiki has no info on rabies yet and very little on the megalania too. For example how do i cure rabies and does it just drain stamina and health till you die or is it a timed effect?

If you get bitten you'll need more than a few healing brews to survive.
I don't think you can cure rabbies. Your best bet is simply surviving it. It's a timed effect. Last I save the countdown it said 90 seconds.

From personal experience they're not very hostile. Been getting very close to one without it attacking.

getting close... With or without ghillie? I haven't been to snow this play, so no organic polymer yet.

Well, with 560 HP, rabies stripped about 150-200 HP from me. Honestly, as long as you ahve a strong mount, they shouldnt be a problem, especially if said mount has mounted weaponry.

i normally go in unmounted, cos i don't normally have expendable mounts... What's a good mount for south east cave since we're on the topic.

the bridge is painful, so something small and fast, yet powerful enough to deal with megalanias. raptors i would recommend, with a flock of dimorphs for backup, but if you don't have them, then just go on foot.
