NEW HOWLING SOUNDS

So, since the recent update, I hear a ton of howling. Can't ever find anything when i go searching. Is this a new added ambient noise or are their legit♥♥♥♥♥♥around my base? So annoying

what did you think an island full of loud animals was going to be quiet? xD I hear hyenas cackle and yowl all around my base and sometimes there are packs em them around. Adds to the feel of the world being more alive imo :)

It's like the bird sounds. It only happens in certain biomes it seems.

I've noticed this at my redwoods base. The first time I heard it, I thought my neighbors dog was freaking out, lol.

thats dumb. I am all for call ambiant effects...but something like that is to reflective of what could be around you. ehh. okie then.

Sounds are just biome ambients noises (for now perhaps). Its annoying I aggree and in some ways deterrs from the game and in others adds to it.

But to be clear we had seagulls doing that sort of noise for almost 2 years already and frogs sounds to a certain extent.

I love all the new ambient sounds. They make the game much more immersive.

Well, with how the game spawns animals, you could litterally have nothing around you, and thus have a very quiet game. And that would be boring. It would be like watching paint dry while listening to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnQxBZjNl-c.

Gentlemen, it certainly doesn't have to be one or the other. Ambient noises are supposed to be subtle. The howling, most of the time, sounds no more than 30 meters away from me. That's not ambient noise. Thats a distraction.

Hmm, and the plot of my theory thickens. There have been reports about long black, snake like creatures with five legs, disembodied screaming, and now diembodied howling. Very strange.
